Everyone loves TV & Movie toys... but enough to cram their pad with THREE THOUSAND of them? Meet Barry Woodley, toy fanatic extraordinaire.

Goodmans' Auctioneers, located in sunny Sydney, Australia, has been super-busy in the past month or two, cataloguing Barry's incredible private collection for sale. Vintage character plastic kits, Dinky TV diecasts, original Star Wars action figures - you name it, it's there, and almost all 'mint in box'. As a matter of fact, his darn collection reads like a 'Who's Who' of TV & Movie toys, from the 1950's to the 1990's... here are just a few savoury examples:

- The impossible-to-find diecast spaceship 'Supercar', from Gerry Anderson's 1962 hit show of the same name;

- The famously-rare 1965 Airfix plastic kit of James Bond's Aston Martin DB5, complete with synthetic assassin... and of course, it's MIB;

- And not one, not two, but THREE fabulous MIB Aurora plastic kits from TV's best-known icon, BATMAN: the Batcycle with sidecar, the Batplane, and the unforgettable TV Batmobile.

So how the HECK did Barry get all this stuff? Newspaper ads, personal contacts, international dealers... you know the story. He's spent an estimated $100,000 over the last twenty years on the collection, and believes the market for old film and TV memorabilia has only grown stronger. "The Market has gone 'Up, up and away', to quote superman" he said.

Comprising over 3000 toys, it is without doubt one of the largest collections of its kind to come onto the Australian market, and is expected to attract collectors from around the world... international bidders are more than welcome! And believe it or not, all items are to be sold WITHOUT RESERVE! The auction will take place over two days on the 8th and 9th of September, 2002, Australian time.

So don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! For more details simply send us and email by clicking here kf@goodmans.com.au
